How to Use

Count your medicines by their ACB score: score 1, score 2 and score 3. Enter each count, then press Calculate to see the total score and a general interpretation.

Formula in Plain Words

The total ACB score is the count of score 1 medicines times 1, plus the count of score 2 medicines times 2, plus the count of score 3 medicines times 3. A total of 3 or more is generally described as high burden.

Worked Example

For 2 score 1 medicines, 1 score 2 medicine and 1 score 3 medicine, the total is 2 + 2 + 3 = 7, which is a high burden.
