Use the free TDEE Calculator on ToolVexa to estimate how many calories you burn each day. TDEE stands for Total Daily Energy Expenditure, and it includes both your resting energy use and your daily activity.
How to Use
Choose your sex, enter your weight in kilograms, height in centimetres and age in years, then choose the activity level that best matches your week. Press Calculate to see your BMR and your TDEE.
Formula in Plain Words
First, the Mifflin-St Jeor formula estimates your BMR, which is the energy your body uses at rest. Then that figure is multiplied by an activity factor, from 1.2 for a sedentary life up to 1.9 for a very active life, to give your total daily energy needs.
Worked Example
For a man who is 80 kg, 180 cm tall and 30 years old, the BMR is 1780 calories a day. At a moderately active factor of 1.55, the TDEE is 2759 calories a day.
